Achziv beach is part of the Achziv National Park on the Mediterranean coast, rich in limestone landscapes, creeks, bays and natural pools, Lotus creticus flowers (silvery lotus) and Sea daffodils. The park is the site of a prominent ancient port city from the Canaanite period (18th century B.C.), which was mentioned in the Bible.
The beach has some of Israel’s clearest waters, picnic and camping grounds, bathrooms and changing rooms, and a 4 kilometer (2.4 mile) promenade along the northern beach.
