The museum is located in Kibbutz Nahsholim, near the Mediterranean Sea, and was founded in 1891 as a glass factory by the Baron Rothschild.  The museum has archeological findings from the sea, Tel David, ancient glass artifacts and temporary exhibits of contemporary art, in glass and more. The museum offers games and activities for adults and kids, guided tours and films that depict Baron Rothschilds’ vision, the blue thread, marine archeology and glassmaking.
