The museum displays temporary exhibitions of Israeli art alongside the permanent exhibition of works by the late artist Avshalom Okashi (1916-1980). This artist was one of the most important Israeli painters and made his mark on the art of the Land of Israel. Okashi was a teacher of painting in most of the schools in Acco and taught at the Art Department of the University of Haifa in its early years.
