What to do in “Beit Shean”, Israel
Beit She’an is one of the oldest cities in Israel and is mentioned in the Bible.
The city is a northern historical gem that tells a fascinating story of a period full of history, culminating in the Beit She’an National Park in the north of the city and one of the most beautiful and impressive gardens in Israel. In the area of the new Beit She’an, other remains were found, including a Roman amphitheater, a two-story building from the Byzantine period, and remains of a bridge from the Roman period on Nahal Harod, which flows along the city’s outskirts.
The city is located in the Beit She’an Valley, an area full of freshwater springs, and therefore those who come to the city can find many natural sites and hiking activities throughout the year.

The main events that take place in Beit Shean are “She’an Nights” – a new attraction for the whole family with an impressive nighttime audio-visual performance on summer nights, the Spring Festival during Chol Hamoed Pesach, the Beer Festival and various music events throughout the year.

Transportation in Beit She’an is based on municipal buses, taxis, and private vehicles.
It is also possible to reach by train and inter-city buses.
