A 1.6 kilometer (1 mile) long beach situated in the Ashkelon national park, on the shores of the Mediterranean sea. The park is rich with a colorful limestone landscape, and archeological remnants from the ancient city of Ashkelon, such as the Canaanite rampart and Roman Basilica. The site has lawns for picnicking, camping grounds, bathrooms and showers.
