This reserve is one of southern Israel’s most popular, because it combines a beautiful beach and sand dunes, fascinating plant life typical of both Africa and the Mediterranean, hiking trails and heritage sites.
On the trail you’ll see rare old ficus sycamore trees, fragrant broom bushes and Artemisia. You will also see animals such as deer, rodents and reptiles, including Israel’s largest lizard, the monitor lizard.
