Information and Review of the Givat Harakafot

Giv’at HaRakafot near Moshav Tal Shahar.

Tal Shahar is a moshav established in 1948 in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. The moshav is located on Route 3 south of Nachshon Junction and within Emek Sorek.

On the southern border of the moshav – south of the railway tracks – is a beautiful hill – the ” Yishai Forest” – where cyclamen and other wildflowers carpet the ground.

Flowering begins after the first rains and peaks at the end of January and February.

Walking in the forest is suitable for all ages.

Arrival instructions:

Enter Moshav Tal Shahar, continue straight all the way, pass the traffic circle and continue until the railway tracks.

Cross the tracks, and the hill will be right in front of you.

The path turns left, and you can drive around the entire hill.

You can park at the foot of the hill or continue with the vehicle on a circular route and stop where it is convenient.
