Information and Review of the Bridge of the Wishes – Jaffa
Ancient legend says that all who stand on the bridge, thinking about their wish, while looking at the sea – Their dream will come true!
On the wooden bridge railing that connects the summit garden with Kedumim Square are bronze statues
of the twelve zodiac signs. In the entrance to the bridge is a stone mosaic of the Zodiac.
The statues of the zodiac along the bridge were created by Esther Shlomo, and Freddie Fabian and the mosaic were created by Varda Givoli, Ilan Gelber, and Navot Gil. In August 2016, the bridge was reopened after a comprehensive renovation, with handholds for visitors’ convenience and artistic lighting designed by Micha Margalit.
