Information and Review of the Migdal Shalom Meir

An office building that stands where Tel Aviv’s Gymnasia Herzliya (high school) used to be. When it was first built, it was the tallest building in the Middle East. The lobby carries an exhibition of photographs of the city’s early days, and two impressive mosaic walls by Tel Aviv’s own artists. One created in 1967 Nahum Gutman, depicting the beginning of Tel Aviv with four colors that symbolize various periods. The other was created by David Sharir in 1994 and shows everyday city-life scenes.
