At the Israel Nature and Parks Authority’s Hai Bar Yotvata, 30 minutes north of Eilat, you drive through the reserve seeing endangered biblical animals, nurtured here until they can be released back into the wild. There are ostriches, Oryx, wild asses, addaxes and more. You can rent a CD to play in your car with explanations about the animals. Your tour ends with a visit to the Night Life Room and the predator center, home to spotted leopards, wolves, caracals and snakes.
