Information and Review of the Villa Brown Hotel – Jerusalem, Israel

The Villa Brown Hotel is located in a private villa from the 19th century, built for a rich Jewish doctor and his family. The villa was a favorite gathering for the social elite of the time. Subsequently preserved and extended by two floors the villa was refurbished as an exclusive boutique hotel, in the spirit of its most glamorous days. The new design is influenced by a convergence between the various historical periods of the building: from Ottoman rule through British mandate, to the eclecticism of the Israeli melting pot. Those elements are expressed in red, emerald and purple hues dominating the rooms and the common areas of the hotel, which includes 24 stylized rooms and suites, a café-bistro with breakfast, brunch and high tea.

The hotel also features a basement bar, located near the ancient water well in the building. A rooftop spa includes a fully furnished treatment room, a roomy rooftop porch overlooking the landscape with rest and suntan areas and an open air Jacuzzi. The hotel conference room can double as a private projection room and library, with the best tradition of the Brown Hotels.
