The grounds of Hurshat Tal are studded with ancient oak trees that were planted, according to legend, by the Prophet Mohammed’s companions.
A tributary of the Dan River crosses the park, filling a pool suitable for swimming. Fishing is also permitted. A colorful carpet of wildflowers blooms here in the spring. The site has an overnight campground and bungalows for rent.
